Medium and Large belong to the same creative workflow, but they are most useful at different moments. Medium is the economical sketchbook: run several compositions, compare palettes, and test how far the model can interpret a brief. Large makes more sense after those decisions have narrowed.

A common mistake is using the higher-cost model before the art direction is stable. More finish cannot rescue a brief that still contains conflicting camera, lighting, or material instructions. Resolve the direction with Medium, then give Large a prompt that already has a clear hierarchy.

Creativity controls how much interpretation the model can add between the written brief and the image. Raw keeps the relationship tight. Low permits restrained art direction. Medium balances fidelity with useful surprise. High can reshape framing, light, texture, and spatial rhythm more assertively.

Durable records make it possible to reproduce a direction, investigate failures, and compare model changes over time.
